I called 4 companies before settling upon Auto Transport. The woman on the phone was very nice and answered all of my questions or asked if she didn't know the answer. Originally, I had been quoted a price back in June by 4 companies and then wasn't able to move the car at this time as I was travelling for the summer, so I waited until I returned.....by then, of course the prices had increased due to fuel charges, however, I found a great deal of range in how much prices had changed. Some companies were actually charging $400 more than originally quoted 2 months earlier. AutoTransport's quote only went up $95- and thus, I moved my car from California to Vermont for only $1,295-. I felt that this was reasonable.
What I am most happy with was the promptness of the delivery. I was quoted a 2 week window for pick up and this was exactly what happened.....no delays, no excuses. The driver did in fact break down on the way to California and I was notified about this one day delay, however, this still fell inside the quoted window. I would certainly recommend this service to anyone in the future. The car arrived undamaged and on time.
