We were quoted by email, $1,1500.00. When we got the contract, hidden in pages of text, we saw possible additional charges for up to 15% fuel Surcharge (FSC) and 8% insurance and tax. I called and Andy tells me that the 8% was included in the original quote and that the 15% FSC is only needed if the fuel price goes up from the time of contract to when the vehicle is picked up and it is based on the Federal Fuel Price index. He resent a new contract excluding the 8%. The vehicle was picked up in a timely manor. After it was picked up we had to call the trucking company (not Advance Logistics) for the final price so that we can have cash or money order to pay the drive at destination. The final cost was, to the penny, included the whole 15%. Since we could not get the vehicle without paying the driver in full we were forced to pay the full amount including the 15% surcharge. We asked Andy about this and all he would say is that it was the extra cost of fuel. I looked up the cost of fuel for this period and it was flat. We went with them because of their original quote, we should have paid more to an honest company.

unfortunately people do not want to read what they sign or do not understand what they are reading.
Also people if they want to check the diesel fuel they can go to the website [federal highway diesel fuel index]
No one makes up the prices.
