Damaged Oil pan and Flat tire....prove it!?!

Review:

When the driver called to inform me of his arrival, I was told that he was unable to park his big rig where my car was to be picked up. The driver then let me know he would taxi over and drive about five miles back to load it onto his truck.
Driver took a bunch of pictures and a short conversation later, he was gone. Car arrives in CA before I get there and mom signs for it. I get into town 4-5 days later, only to find a huge puddle of oil in the garage under the car. (where the driver parked it.) The oil pan had been cracked and one of my tires had been popped. Basically the driver at some point hit something and broke the oil pan and popped the tire because the car sure was not like that when he picked it up!
I called Harry the claims guy and he basically told me I was SOL, and to "prove it."
So basically I bit the bullet and spent:
oil pan=$565
new tire+alignment=$200
total=$1665
lesson=should have drove the darn thing!
you suck.
